OUR STORY

From a Small Gathering to a National Movement

The association was founded in 1998 by a small group of immigrant families who wanted to preserve their language, culture, and sense of belonging in a new country. What started in a living room has grown into a national community of more than 1,200 members across 18 chapters.

Through cultural festivals, scholarship programs, and grassroots development projects, we have honored where we come from while creating opportunity for the generations that follow.

Today our work is bigger than ever — and so is the community it serves.
